We believe that calling on Jesus Christ is the most powerful action we can take in serving the dying and impoverished people of the world. Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14, ESV). An intercessory missionary's primary role is to call on God to change the spiritual atmosphere surrounding the people we serve. This is a way that anyone can get involved without ever leaving home. Most of us cannot go and physically serve the wonderful people of Trash Mountain, but any one of us can love them through worship and prayer.
Trash Mountain Project needs an army of people who are devoted to intercessory worship and prayer on behalf of the children and families we serve, and for the overall mission of this organization.
