Honduras 2010:
Trash Mountain Project has announced two trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras for the summer of 2010! Both trips will be focused on sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the children and families of Trash Mountain Honduras. We will be building homes for the families on both trips, and will be setting up feeding stations on the dump itself. The first trip to Honduras for this summer will be on May 15-21. The second trip to Trash Mountain Honduras will be on August 2-9.
If you are interested in joining the team for either of these summer trips, please contact Brett Durbin at brett@trashmountain.com

Cambodia 2010 & 2011:
Thanks to a unique partnership with non-profit organizations already working among the dump community, God has paved a way for the Cambodia dump families to be rescued, relocated and provided with the means to begin a new life outside the garbage dump. It is the goal of Trash Mountain Project to raise enough financial resources in 2010 and 2011 to relocate all families and provide homes, animals for farming income and nutritional resources, as well as various educational opportunities. Please consider helping this disparaged community by donating your time, resources or talents. Every effort helps to save lives otherwise lost to starvation, disease, abuse, and occupational hazard.
Teams to return to Cambodia will be forming in 2010. Interested in joining us in our mission to Cambodia? Contact: brett@trashmountain.com. Please include the following in your email: name, age, city and state of home address, prior missions or ministry experience, as well as why you are interested in serving with Trash Mountain Project.
Dominican Republic 2010:
Trash Mountain Project has discovered our third location to serve God's children living in a trash dump community just outside of Santiago, Dominican Republic. Brett Durbin will be traveling with a small team from March 18-22 to scout this new location with the goal of returning with the vision for how Trash Mountain Project can best serve the wonderful people of Santiago. Please pray for this journey, and continue to look out for updates as we will be taking teams down to begin this new project by the end of 2010!
Nigeria 2010:
God has opened a very unique opportunity to serve five villages outside the capital city of Abuja, Nigeria. Brett Durbin will be traveling with TMP Board Member and Treasurer Josh Bechard to Nigeria from April 2-12. We are going to learn about five villages in very serious need of basic necessities such as fresh water, food, clothing, medication, and tranportation. Pastor Emmanuel Akanet, a long-time friend of Brett, is the only person who is bringing the Gospel to this wonderful group of people, and he has asked for our help and God has very uniquely provided for us to go and visit this group of people and research this opportunity to serve. We will be documenting everything as we travel, and will also be researching the local dump community in Abuja. Please pray for this journey, and for the success and safety of everyone involved. This could very easily become our fourth location of service.
