Everything we do is made possible by our dedicated partners, volunteers and supporters. Our partners are made up of churches, businesses, organizations and individuals that have committed to join in the vision God has given us on the mission field. Our volunteers have put in more than 15,000 hours over the past year, both at home and abroad. Social entrepreneurs such as Blue Jazz Java and Torch Designs have changed their business models to include generous donations to TMP.
Just as our international church partners are uniquely qualified to understand and reach the communities in which we serve, local churches throughout the U.S. have the capacity and call to mobilize in world missions. Pastors have invited a TMP leader to come and share the stories of God’s movement in the trash dump communities and church mission committees have joined with TMP in sending their teams with us to one of our ministry locations. Multiple churches have supported various projects, including helping build a technical school, repairing and building homes, conducting medical clinics and running a kids camp. Local church partnership is essential to the mission of Trash Mountain Project.
