Overview
Trash dump communities are complex places. There is not a single cause or a simple, single solution. Once we have identified the forgotten people (the dump community), the right international community-based partners, and the compassionate donors, we can then move toward solutions.
-
#1 Understanding the Need
Our journey starts by understanding the communities we serve. Through research and visits to trash dump communities, we identify the greatest needs. We identity the needs through conversations with the people living in the communities and the community-based leaders already present.
-
#2 Creating a Strategy
In cooperation with the community-based leaders, we identify the areas where we can make the most impact—whether it’s through education, nutrition, discipleship, vocational training or economic development.
-
#3 Securing Resources
Here’s where you come in. Our work is fueled by the generosity of donors like you—churches, individuals, organizations and grants. Every dollar you contribute goes directly toward supporting these communities, ensuring that they have the resources needed to build a better future.
-
#4 Empowering Local Action
Once the funding is in place, our community-based partners implement the plans. They’re the boots on the ground, delivering programs that provide immediate relief and foster long-term growth.
-
#5 Measuring Impact
We don’t just walk away once the programs are set up. We stay involved, measuring the impact of our efforts and ensuring that we’re making a real difference. We adapt and refine our strategies to maximize the effectiveness of every initiative.
